Lammerskraal’s exciting resident sires Go Deputy and Visionaire are both currently high up on this season’s sires list.
Currently the pair are 5th and 12th on South Africa’s Leading Sires of 3YOS List (NHA List), with Go Deputy currently ranking ahead of such outstanding stallions as Judpot, Kahal and Var. Visionaire, whose oldest South African runners are just three this season, is currently clear of the likes of such top class sires as Fort Wood, and Tiger Ridge, and Grand Slam’s G1 winning son looks a really exciting future prospect!
(Lammerskraal’s former champion sire Western Winter is enjoying an excellent season in 2015-2016, and is in the top ten on the general sires list, 2yo sires list and broodmare sires list!)
Both Go Deputy and Visionaire have exceptional 3yos to their credit this season, with Go Deputy’s top sophomore being G1 Vodacom Durban July hope and Triple Crown winner Abashiri, while Visionaire’s first sophomores include none other than G2 Wilgerbosdrift Gauteng Fillies Guineas winner Heaps Of Fun.
Go Deputy has two lots on offer at the upcoming Sibaya KZN Yearling Sale –a half brother to a four time winner, whose second dam is a G2 winning half sister to champion Vesta (Lot 39), and a filly whose dam is a full sister to a G1 2yo and who is from the same family as former champion 2yo Double Jump (Lot 167).
Former Leading First Crop Sire, Visionaire, has four yearlings on offer at the KZN Sale- namely:
Lot 107 – A filly, out of a winning Jet Master, who is from the family of Dingaans winner Lagin
Lot 110 –A filly whose second dam is a Western Winter half sister to G1 winners Al Nitak and The Sheik
Lot 172 – A full brother to Visionaire’s G1 2yo Visuality (from the family of Heaps Of Fun)
Lot 179 –A colt whose four time winning dam is related to G1 Fillies Guineas winner Allure
