The Lammerskraal Stud bred Icy Trail has been entered for a number of major features to be run at the 2018 Dubai World Cup meeting on March 31st.

The son of resident sire Go Deputy is an entrant in the G1 Dubai Sheema Classic (a race worth $6 000 000) and the G1 Dubai Turf (also with a purse of $6 000 000).
Icy Trail, who has made only one start in Dubai thus far, was a very smart performer in South Africa.
The gelding, who is out of former Oaks winner and Equus Champion Icy Air, won six of 15 outings and earned over R500 000 in prize money when in the care of trainer Candice Bass-Robinson.
Icy Trail scored his biggest win when he landed the 2016 G2 Premier Trophy-beating graded stakes winners Krambambuli, St Tropez, Ovidio and Dynamic.
His millionaire sire Go Deputy, whose daughter Widow’s Lamp recently reeled off a hatrick of wins, is best known as the sire of Triple Crown champion Abashiri.
