Go Deputy daughters entered for Woolavington

While Lammerskraal’s resident sire Go Deputy may not be represented by large numbers of runners, there is no doubt he is capable of throwing high class stock.

The G1 winning millionaire has just 11 registered three-year-old runners this season, but they include a trio of stakes performers, in Flichity By Farr, Full Mast, and Widow’s Lamp.
The latter, winner of the recent Listed East Cape Oaks, is one of two Go Deputy fillies entered for the G1 Woolavington 2000, which will be run at Greyville on June 2nd.

Widow’s Lamp, who was runner up in the East Cape Derby last time out, could be joined by paternal half-sister Insignis in the R1 000 000 feature.

The lightly raced Insignis has won two of her four starts thus far, with Widow’s Lamp having won or placed in 13 of her 15 outings.

Their sire Go Deputy, whose daughter Flichity By Farr was a creditable second in the recent G2 Wilgerbosdrift SA Oaks, is also the sire of Triple Crown winner Abashiri who recently impressed when second in the G1 The Premier’s Champions Challenge at Turffontein.
