Lammerskraal Stud’s successful sire Visionaire, who has covered some top class mares this season, was represented by yet another debut winner at Turffontein on Thursday.

This time it was the Visionaire 3yo filly Power Of Love who scored, with the David Nieuwenhuizen trained sophomore powering home to get up late and win first time out over 1160m.
Backed down to favouritism, Power Of Love produced an impressive turn of foot, with the Summerhill Stud bred filly getting home to win on the line, going away.
Visionaire has a number of smart sophomores representing him this season, including impressive recent winner Champenois and One Dimension, a good winner second time out over 1400 metres.
The G1 winning son of Grand Slam is also responsible for the likes of Fillies Guineas winner Heaps Of Fun, G3 winning 2yo Royal Pleasure and talented G3 Byerley Turk hero Africa Rising. The latter has earned in excess of R850 000 to date.
