Go Deputy filly wins again

Go Deputy filly wins again

Lammerskraal Stud’s successful sire Go Deputy looks to have a well above average 3yo on his hands in the form of Flichity By Farr.

The latter showed her class when beating older fillies and mares over 2000m at Greyville on Wednesday –no mean for a three-year-old at this time of the year.
Bred by Lammerskraal, Flichity By Farr, rated good enough to take her chances in the G1 Thekwini Stakes last season, put a comfortable two lengths between herself and runner up Mayfair to score her second win from just seven starts.

She is owned by The Fire Racing Trust and is trained by Alyson Wright.

Her sire Go Deputy’s top class offspring include Triple Crown winner, and current G1 Summer Cup favourite Abashiri, who lines up in the G3 Victory Moon Stakes at Turffontein this evening.

A G1 winning millionaire from the family of Fappiano, Go Deputy has two lots on next week’s CTS Ready To Run Sale:

Lot 66 –this colt is a full-brother to the smart, stakes placed filly Widow’s Lamp

Lot 34 –this colt is from the same family as 2 Breeders’ Cup winning successful sires, one of whom, Awesome Again, is by Deputy Minister –sire of Go Deputy
