Lammerskraal Stud’s in-form resident sire Go Deputy could be represented at the 2018 Dubai World Cup Carnival.
His talented, Lammerskraal Stud bred son, Icy Trail is one of ten South African bred thoroughbreds entered for the Carnival.
No fewer than 14 individual international G1 winners are nominated for the festival.
The World Cup Carnival is set to take place from January 11th to 31 March and will culminate in the 2018 Dubai World Cup at the end of March.
Icy Trail showed top class form in South Africa, where he won six times including the G2 Premier Trophy, where he accounted for four graded stakes winners.
His sire Go Deputy is also responsible for promising 3yo filly Widow’s Lamp who has won three of her last five outings and has won her last two races in a row.
