Another good sale for Lammerskraal!

Lammerskraal Stud enjoyed another memorable sale when they sold five lots for R2 700 000 at the recent Cape Premier Yearling Sale.

The top lot from the draft was Dynasty colt Legacy Lane (Lot 148), who was knocked down to the Singapore based Pat Shaw for R1 000 000.
The colt, a ¾ brother to a Dynasty colt which made R4.5 million at the 2017 Premier Sale, is a half-brother to 3 winners notably the exported Team Valor owned filly Flying Ice.

A daughter of Lammerskraal’s successful resident sire Go Deputy, Flying Ice won 3 times including the G2 Gold Bracelet in South Africa.

Lammerskraal Stud also acquired a Trippi filly (Lot 72) by the name of Spring Break for R1 800 000 at the 2018 Cape Premier Sale. The filly is out of Var’s G3 Tommy Hotspur winning daughter Miss October –herself a full-sister to G1 winning sprinter August Rush.
