Lammerskraal Stud’s exciting young sire Visionaire has a number of really smart looking three-year-olds to his credit this season.
This crop includes the talented Copper Pot, who made it three wins from just seven outings, when bolting up by two and a half lengths over 1400m at the Vaal on Tuesday.
From the yard of champion trainer Sean Tarry, whose charges also included Visionaire’s classic winning daughter Heaps Of Fun, Copper Pot was bred by the Summerhill Stud.
Visionaire’s numerous smart three-year-olds include R600 000 plus earner Africa Rising and the G1 filly Visuality.
Both Africa Rising and Visuality are set to line up in Saturday’s R2.5 million Lanzerac Ready To Run Stakes at Kenilworth.
Himself winner of the G1 King’s Bishop Stakes, one of North America’s premier events for 3yos, Visionaire made a sensational start to his stud career when heading SA’s First Crop Sires List in 2014-2015.
His 29 strong draft for next week’s CTS Johannesburg Ready To Run Sale includes a half brother to smart filly Intergalactic (Lot 153), an own brother to Visuality (Lot 167), and a full brother to G1 performer Africa Rising (Lot 216).
