Juvenile winner for Go Deputy

Juvenile winner for Go Deputy

Lammerskraal Stud’s successful sire Go Deputy had a 100% strike rate at Greyville this Saturday, when his only runner on the day found herself in the winners box.
Go Deputy’s promising two-year-old filly Flichity By Farr who defied greenness to come with a storming late run to win by one and a half lengths over 1600m –defeating promising Visionaire filly Champenois in the process.

Trained by Alyson Wright, and owned by the Fire Racing Trust, the Lammerskraal Stud bred Flichity By Farr is out of the Western Winter mare Flichity.

She was a R310 000 buy from last year’s CTS Ready To Run Sale Presented by Lanzerac Hotel & Spa.

Go Deputy has only been represented by two juvenile runners this season thus far, but they include Listed East Cape Fillies Nursery runner up Widow’s Lamp, a leading contender for Friday’s Listed Lady’s Slipper Stakes.

The G1 winning millionaire will be well represented at Greyville this Saturday when his sons Go Direct and Royal Badge line up in the G3 Cup Trial over 1800m.
