Visionaire’s talented daughter Lala picked up the sixth win of her career when she was victorious in a pinnacle stakes for fillies and mares at Scottsville on Sunday.
The talented four-year-old, who had been second in the 2016 G3 Flamboyant Stakes, bounded clear under jockey Anton Marcus to post a one and a quarter length success, at the expense of the progressive, and favourite, Impala Lily.
The latter had finished a close second in the G3 Flamboyant Stakes last time out.
Lala has built up a good record with Anton Marcus, with Marcus having ridden the Doug Campbell trained filly three times, for two wins and a close third.
Bred by Summerhill Stud, the Albert Rapp owned filly pushed her earnings to over R569 000 with Sunday’s win.
Her sire Visionaire has some exciting 2yos representing him this season, with his 2yos having fetched up to R550 000 this season.
