Visionaire’s very smart daughter Lala impressed in victory at Greyville on Wednesday.
The Doug Campbell trained four-year-old made it win number five when lugging 60kgs over 1800m on Greyville’s polytrack.
Ridden by apprentice Dennis Schwarz, Lala simply outclassed her rivals to register a 2.75 length win and she looks unlikely to stop here.

Bred by Summerhill Stud, the versatile Lala (who finished second previously in the G3 Flamboyant Stakes) has won on both turf and polytrack, and Wednesday’s win pushed the filly’s earnings to over R478 000.

Out of the Muhtafal mare Hlabelela, Lala was a R200 000 buy from the 2014 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

Her sire Visionaire looks on track for another good season, with his runners including such promising three-year-olds as Africa Rising, Aggressive, and Visuality, to name a few.
