Lammerskraal Stud’s exciting sire Visionaire looks to have some smart two-year-olds to his credit this season.
The former G1 King’s Bishop Stakes winner’s 2yos include impressive debut winner Real Vision, and the beautifully bred Champenois (a R1 000 000 buy from the 2016 Emperors Palace Select Yearling Sale), who ran a close second first time out.

Visionaire’s latest two-year-old success came in the form of Bridal Veil, who won a smart race when scoring by 1.75 lengths over 1200m at Greyville on Wednesday. Bred by Team Valor (who owns Bridal Veil in partnership with Ananat and Vanashree Singh), the filly was making just her second racecourse appearance, having finished a close up fourth first time out.
